I have just installed a set of batteries in my new to me Mobility Scooter.
I am concerned about somebody driving off with it when it’s parked outside.

I’m sure there is some king of clamp on wheel lock.
Does you scooter have a freewheel setting? If so, an electrical lock won’t prevent somebody from just pushing it along and up a ramp into their pickup or van.

Thanks, it does have a knob that when pulled up puts it into Free Wheel.

Maybe I need to be able to lock it to something like I would a bicycle.

Yup. I'd probably just get some chain and lock her up. Maybe hide an AirTag or something on it too.

take a look at some of those rental scooters in the downtowns of cities. the only way to unlock those is with a credit card. see what kind of lock they have to prevent freewheeling
