Modern TE 33 Tool kit?

I received this tool kit recently from a friend who picked it up at estate sale, apparently it was littered with modernish military surplus. The kit appears to be a modern version of the old US Army signal corps TE-33 tool kit. The pliers are 7 inch Klein lineman’s and the knife is a standard old style Klein electricians style 2 blade with bail, the sheath is stamped kipper tool with their phone number, I know kipper is a government supplier, just not the powerhouse supplier like in the past. Not sure if anyone has any info if these kits are still issued or when they stopped, but I figured I would share if anyone has interest or further information.

Hello @**** Tracy

I don't have a clue.
Vintage Knife thread (I'd post the photos there and ask too.)

Kipper was a government contract supplier:

Kipper / Kipper Tool Co., 2375 Murphy Blvd, Gainesville, GA 30504 / https://www.kippertool.com/ / military contract supplier /
Thanks, I’ll post there. After I originally posted I did discover a website post I glanced over before that sold a more recent te-33 kit, but with a traditional tan holster, it had a pro America pair of lineman’s and a Camillus electricians knife, with an gov. issue date of 2011. So I guess the signal corp or some group may still issue these or did somewhat recently.
