Modifying an existing building

I will try my best to explain what the building looks like and what I am trying to do with it.

I have an existing "garage" that I would like to modify to make an actual garage out of. The middle section is 9-1/2W x 15D stick built with a concrete pad already poured, but is slightly rough textured. To the left is an attached enclosed pole-barn section that is 13W x 24D with a dirt/gravel floor and there is concrete poured between the poles that goes down into the ground, though not sure how far (haven't dug down yet to determine) and it sites around 4 inches (on average) above the floor. Behind the center section is a separate area that is 9W x 9D that sits 8 inches lower than the dirt floor in the pole-barn section and there is a concrete "floor" in this section, though it looks like it was just poured as the floor is REALLY uneven. There are walls between all sections of the building.

As stated above, I am looking to modify the existing building to remove the internal walls, pour a pad in the pole barn and rear room sections even with the existing pad in the middle section, and try to incorporate everything together. There will still be a post where the current corner between the middle and pole barn sections meet since I will need to install a beam to get rid of the wall between the two sections due to the roof construction as each section was built at a different time. The overall condition of the building is pretty good, with a few places that will need repair.

Here are my questions, and please let me know if any more information is needed:

1) What is the best way to incorporate the floors? There is a base plate at the wall I would like to remove that sits on top of the concrete pad, however it is countersunk in the pad (concrete is under the plate), forming an "L" shape in the concrete (if viewed on end). Should I drill holes and install rebar to join the two pads together? I would like to make one floor from 2 and smooth the sections together on top.

2) What is the best way to incorporate a new pad pour in the pole barn section and the room at the rear with the concrete poured between the poles? I am thinking about pouring the floor 2 inches over the existing concrete and installing rebar or all-thread. I would prefer all-thread so I could install base plates between the poles to have a traditional wall. I am also raising the roof on this section (it currently is a 4/12 pitch with the lower end at 7 feet) as my wife wants to add a run-in to the side of the garage for the horses.

3) I don't know how thick the poorly poured concrete floor in the rear section (9x9) is. I was thinking of adding a gravel layer base to raise the floor to the same level as the other floors and then pouring a pad on top, but not sure if it would be unstable. I REALLY don't want to have to dig up the floor if I don't have to. I would also be adding a foundation wall to the outside two walls.

I will take pictures of what I am talking about and attempt to post them soon.

thank you for any and all advice as I have found invaluable information here for other projects!

For some reason the pictures won’t load.
Basically, it comes down to this: in order to join two slabs together, one new and one old, they will overlap 4 inches due to the lip that will be created when I remove the base plate in the middle of the building. Should I drill holes and install rebar, or is there a better way to join the two slabs together? What possible issues might arise by doing this?

Removing the old slab will be a royal PIA as it is old concrete and is about 6 inches thick, at least, based on what I’m seeing on the edge. Plus, it’s about 150 square feet.

yeah, I saw it's actually a concrete question only. Hopefully the right people will find it. If not you can go to the floor forum and click on the sticky concrete thread you'll see there are some genuine experts that help out.
