Im thinking about getting the HF 72" box.. I saw a video of a guy who took out the drawer latches and put magnets at the back of the drawers.

Was thinking maybe you could grind down the tips of the drawer latch to a rounded edge, so the drawer could be pulled out or pushed in with a a small amount of effort, without actually sliding the latch with your finger. similar to a ball catch on top of a french door.

has anyone tried this? think it will work?

I put little plastic squares in mine holding the latches open. Then the ones that like to fall out put a little RTV to hold them in. That way you can use them again anytime you want and don't permanently damage them. My drawers started to walk out a little when they weren't latched. Then I put shims under both front wheels to stop that. Those latches are my only compliant on those boxes. I wish they had a grip-latch like my other box. The magnets sound like a good idea.
