Modifying outside barn light

Hi all:
I'd like to add one of these classic style dusk-to-dawn lights, but I need a motion sensor:

Or one of these, but it does not throw enough light (> 3000 lumens):

So. . .Anyone add a motion sensor to a classic dusk-to-dawn light), or conversely, can the output of a "regular" motion detection light be increased a lot?

The motion and/or dusk to dawn modifier can be somewhere different, like up under an eave, and the light over the door. It just needs to be wired to work.

Make sure your motion sensor is LED rated, if using an LED light like in your first link.
