Uhg. So unpacked my new HDS45 and found out it is damaged beyond easy repair. Web retailer said they'll ship another but Modine is out of stock on the 45. They said they could ship me an HDS60 for the same price.

My garage is 22x20x11, is attached to the house. Will have no insulation this weekend above the garage and neither of the 2 external walls are currently insulated (although we got new insulated garage doors this past summer). I'd like to insulate the other two walls, but right now there is so much machinery in there that it's not going to happen in the near future.

So would the 60 be too much? What exactly is the downside if I go to a 60 but only need a 45?

Thanks.

You will just have more BTU's than you need, but more is always better. Size is not a factor between the 45 and 60 except the 60 hangs down 6 more inches. Take it and run since you got it for the same price. Enjoy!!!
