I installed this heater just after Thanksgiving and have not had any problems until last weekend. So all of sudden my Modine heater started to trip the unit limit control switch A little back ground 1 inch gas pipe with 2 psi supply and a regulator to drop to 7 WC and 3.5 out of gas valve. No drop when unit fires up and no restriction for intake and exhaust.
So I installed a thermocouple with a max and low temp reader at the unit limit switch. The temp maxs out at 268 and trips the switch. I reset the switch and start the unit again it will run until it reaches that max and trips again. The switch is located at the top of the burner. What should a max temp be on the switch?
Is there anything else I should check?
