Modine hanging heater w/ no heat?

Hey guys i just recently got my Modine hanging heater hooked up in my garage.I bought it in 99 and had it hook up at my other house for a couple of years. It sat for 5 years before i got it hooked up here this summer. Anyway ive used it a few times and it worked great. The only thing i noticed is that it wasnt shutting off at the temp i had set on the thermostat...no biggie. I used it 2 weeks ago and i worked fine. I go out today and the fan comes on but no heat! So i put a new thermocouple in it thinking that was the prob. NOPE! still nothing! So i unhooked the thermostat and just jumped it and still no heat! Im am out of ideas on what it could be? anyone have any ideas? ***** because today is the day i was gonna paint my engine compartment. anyone have any experience with these and what else it may be? Oh and the pilot light is working great....Joe

Pilot is on and it has a new thermocouple so it has to be a valve. You might tap it with a hammer if the valve got stuck somehow.

I hope you didn't leave the selector on "pilot."

does it have a standing piolt or elecrtonic ignition ?
do you have the model number maby we can look up some info, or is there a troubleshooting on the manual?

i already tapped it with a hammer and didnt do any good. And no its not on pilot....i checked that too. MMM im not sure if it has a standing pilot or electronic....dont know the first thing about them. How do i tell the diff?
The model number on it is PD 50AAo111

http://http://www.modineheaters.com/Modine-PD-Manual.pdf here is the manual, by your model number you have a standing pilot so I would start there and see if it is lit, if it is what happnes to the pilot when you turn hte tstat to call for heat does it get bigger, do you hear the gas valve click you could have a spider web in a burner ( yes there is a spider that can live with the gas trust me) a dirt dobber.

I've got a hanging heater from Northern Tool, that blew a high heat sensor, and wouldn't start. I bypassed the sensor to see if it worked, and it did. It was still under warranty, so they sent me a new one.
