Good Morning, I'm in the process of installing an HD100 Hot Dawg. The exhaust parts I have purchased are 4" but the exhaust port on the unit is about 3/8" less than 4". Has anyone else ran into this problem and how do i rectify it. Thanks PUTTER
I'm not sure what brand of vent pipe you are using so I can't say for sure this is avail. I used Simpson DuraVent (avail through www.ventingpipe.com) type B vent pipe. They make a Draft Hood Connector, which is specifically designed to fit over the exhaust port, then connect to their style of type B vent (which is required for my HD75, and I would guess for your furnace as well). Other vent pipe manf. most likely make a similar connector.
