a friend dropped off a modine hanging heater model PA 105A. It is a natural gas heater. Is this a good heater worth the effort converting over to propane? What is involved and what is the cost of doing this?

not much cost or effort involved; they used to sell kits to convert either way, as far as fuel gas is concerned.. yes, Modine unit heaters are the best, been around forever
Look on CL you might find one set up for propane already if the one you have is in decent shape maybe you can trade even for one set up the way you need or sell this one and buy one, meaning you get what you need with no more $ output than you have put out so fa
