Modine heater

Close to pulling the trigger on a Modine heater for the detached garage. Only problem - can't find an answer to this quesion - what is the lowest temp setting? Is it a function of the heater or the thermostat? I would assume the thermostat but I haven't seen any that would go into the 40's - most have a low setting that is too high for this application. Not interested in keeping the temp up when I'm not out there. Where can I find a thermostat that isn't geared toward a house?

Low temp is a limit on the thermostat. The furnace should work fine below 40* fine.

Some heaters have a note about use in low temps, this in one I found in the installation instructions of a Modine heater. "Units exposed to inlet air temperatures of 40°F or less, may experience condensation, therefore, provisions should be made for disposal of condensate."
I presume if you have a trap or downward angle on the exhaust pipe you are ok.

I would try to get a hold of the manual. I just purchased a Beacon Morris (Mestek) and their operating low temp is 50 degrees.
