hi guys.
I have the 45k btu unit installed in my garage. has worked well for years. just started noticing silver pies of foil on the ground in front of the unit. after inspection, it's the 3 insulation heat shields disintegrating. I found a place online to order the replacements. it looks fairly direct just pull what's left of the old ones out and install the new ones. has anybody ever done it? also, is it safe to be in the garage with pieces of the heat shields blowing around? I tried Modine they won't talk to me because I'm not a contractor same ole same ole liability issues. thanks for the help if anyone can. again it's 45AH0134
