I picked up a like-new heater, but it was set up for NG and I have propane. I got the conversion kit from Modine, but there's a spring in the gas valve that needs replacing and adjusting. Has anyone done this or have a suggestion how to set the spring adjustment?

you need a nanometer I think it's called . basically you adjust the regulator in the valve to the correct pressure. might try to find a gas guy to do it for you
you did get the orifices , the conversion tag etc?

Yep, got the orifices and tag and that spring, and instructions you need a degree to understand.

You can make your manometer fitting for pressure reading 1/8" male pipe thread x barbed hose size & hose size barb to barb coupling.
