modine hot dawg only stays lit for 10 seconds?

i've got a modine hot dawg i bought used. it lights on all 5 burners but only stays lit for 7-10 seconds
how do i figure out if it's the flame sensor? flame rollout switch? or something else?

Check the flame sensor or rather clean it as well as making sure it has a decent ground. The sensor makes mili AC voltage to feedback to the controller and safety systems. It needs to be grounded to the chassis and the chassis needs a good ground (earth).

The flame rollout sensor if detected or activated is a hard reset that you must perform... it doesn't auto reset.

the control board doesn't have an LED to give error codes, but the gas valve has an LED

i have cleaned the flame sensor, no change
i have a DMM but it won't do micro amps

i found someone who had a used honeywell smart valve, we did a swap and it works great now.
