Is there a way to convert my modine hotdawg HD30,000 model to have the out put of the HD45,000 ?:headscrat

I would call Modine. You might be able to change the orifice to increase the output, but the heat exchanger needs to meet that demand as well.

Also, the Hot Dawg draws air from outside (concentric venting) and will need to provide enough air.

Actually they offer both a separated combustion chamber model and non-separated. The OP has the non-separated model which draws the combustion air from inside the building.

Unfortunately there is no way to increase the BTU output as the 30 MBH unit uses 2 orifices and a 45 MBH uses 3 orifices. Also the HD model is a straight power vented unit and a HDS model would be seperated combustion.
