I am just getting a new garage up and running, so I figured it is about time I chime in with a few questions for a first post.
After doing a lot of research on the Modine/Lennox/Mr. Heater/Reznor/Sterling etc, I decided to go with a Modine HDS75 separated combustion with a 2 stage heater.
I was wondering what everyone does for the separated combustion side of things. I don't know if I will like the look of a 5 ft vent pipe rising above the surface of the roof, so I am trying to see what other options there might be.
I know there are several versions of the concentric vent kit out there, just wondering if they are worth the money, and what they look like inside and outside the garage.
I guess the other option is to use to separate vents, but then you don't get the benefits of running the intake air outside of the exhaust air in the vents (not sure how big an advantage this provides).
While on the topic - is anyone running the 2-stage units?
Thanks!
