bought and old craftsman bandsaw and am going to make some changes to modernize putting a vfd drive on it to vary the speed fabbing up a cart with locking cablabilty.after pulling the motor the tag said 1938.did not think that it was that old until I pulled off the start stop sw. and found out that it was cast bronze and weighs about 20 pounds pretty fricking cool.I will post up a couple more picts of the progress.
