I recently had a need for a quick and easy and American Made product.. for a quick floor solution. I just happened to luck out and find Modutile.com a Houston, Texas based company and after speaking with Marvin Solano in email I was able to pick the tile up the same day, and at only 1.98 (On Sale) a tile found the product well made and and appears to be very durable product.

I will try to post some updates on how well it holds up as well, since it will be in a high traffic area this should be interesting.

I would strongly recommend your get a sample of whatever you are considering and of course, you will find a lot of great information here from members who have been active on the forum for years

We are happy to send you free samples and here is a link to our FAQ page with information people often ask http://www.racedeck.com/faq.html

About the "Power Of 4" -
Our patented interlocking system is the culmination of nearly 40 years of engineering and manufacturing premium modular flooring.

We have invented, developed, tried, and tested every possible lock style and quantities of locks with our flooring. We tried two, three, four, five, six, seven and even eight locks per side. Forty years of trial and error has taught us “The Power Of 4”. Four PowerLocks per side on all four sides of each module is the magic combination for ease of installation, durability, thermal expansion and integration with the under substructure. Don’t be misled, It’s not the number of locks, but the superior performance of the PowerLocks themselves.

Another key benefit of our PowerLock system is the engaged locks become part of the entire substructure, making the entire garage floor one integrated system.

Would love to purchase flooring for the garage but it's just a little out of my budget. I'd have to say I probably wouldn't want to order from either of you though. Makes your business look bad to jump in a thread about another product and try to sell yours. I'm sure you sell great products but that's worse than used car salesman tactics. If/when I'm ready for flooring I'd go with modutile plus its fairly close and I could pick it up. The thread wasn't asking about differences between products, it was about one particular product.

Your right. Its a fair point. Jorgen and I both try and stay out of threads where there is someone active on that product line. When there is no one active to represent the product line sometimes one or both of us jump in.

In my defense, I will say that where I can I provide information about the product in question and often get the customer and the manufacturer together (For example here: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=170542)

In this case, I did not and I stand corrected.

Brian, I do see your point and as Justin pointed out, we both rarely jump in on a competing product. You should note that neither of us said anything negative about their product and in my case I just said you should get samples of any garage tile you are considering. I have a long history here on GJ and out of the 1000+ posts I rarely comment on a particular product. In most cases when someone comes in with a 'new' garage tile they found, it is someone with less than 20 posts, and in the thread the new competitor will join GJ and pipe in...I usually stay far away these... Maybe I should have here. :eyecrazy:

What would you say about the quality of the floor tile, now that you have had it for a while?
