Hello fellow GJ members!
Hoping for a little help in layman’s terms or photos of how to get the maximum temperature out of this valve.
The problem started a couple of days ago with a lowering of the shower temperature. It has been installed now for at least 15 years.
I called Moen customer service and they were very helpful. They suggested changing this valve as well as 2 screens and o-rings.
They sent me the kit and directions. So I set off and did the reinstall. When I first turned the shower on there seemed to be plenty of hot water then turned luke warm and almost cool. I have tried numerous times their recalibration method but same results.
Any plumbing experts can way in on this procedure? Am I missing something?
