So Im sold on the A-7 despite it being 4x the price of a Greg Smith special.

The fact it uses forklift mast channel is nice. I got a quote on the A-7 today. I will probably pick it up in the winter.

Any reason NOT to go with Mohawk?

Yeah because it makes me jealous that I can't swing one right now. Hopefully in a few months I'll be buying one.

I've had an A-7 for 13yrs. Works great and the uprights are super strong. I never worry when working underneath it.

When I moved last year the Mohawk distributer moved it for $750.

If you are a weekend warrior and and aren't going to be using it day-in and day-out I think it's wasted money. Don't take me wrong, Mohawk is a great lift. I looked at them but I just couldn't justify the cost for my use. It's kinda like buying a Ferrari Vs. a Honda. The Honda will get me where I need for a lot less money. But if you really want that Ferrari and can afford it, then go for it.
