You should be able to sell it on Craigslist easily if it works.
Used lifts go from $1000 to $2500 around here, depending on brand, model and condition.

Use it for a while before deciding to sell it. There is a strong chance you may decide to keep it. Mohawk is a top of the line lift.

We are not car people. So the lift has been in the garage for 4 years. It is a mid rise lift, I dont have a pic but i can get one.
The house we moved in to has a huge garage and had this lift and aircompressor and other things. I am sorry I dont know anything about this stuff.

You lucky dude. If you are really sure that you'll never use either, then this place will be your best bet to get a price. Post your location, and take a bunch of pictures, and we'll assist with the sale.

Your market for the air compressor is a lot larger than the lift. Any guy could use the compressor depending on the size. Not all guys want a lift. Pictures will tell a lot.

I don't see a picture of the compressor. IF the object in the 3rd photo is what you think is the compressor....it is not. That is part of the lift. It is the electric motor and the hydraulic pump that will pressurize the lift cylinders of the lift. What is pictured is all components of the Mohawk in floor lift.
I bought a similar lift made by Forward last year for $650 (used). I was shopping for one for a while and $600-1200 seems to be the range for used mid-rise lifts in the Chicago/Milwaukee area.
Been thinking about getting a second one for my Uncle who does a lot of body work, I think it would help his back a ton not having to bend over so much.

Mohawk makes very heavy duty lifts. Put and ad on Craigslist with the model number and price it according to how fast you want it gone. Around here if you price $500 it will be gone in 10 minutes. $1000 and it may take a week. $1500 and it may take 2-4 weeks. They are not as popular as two post or 2 post lifts but very good for small garages without a lot of headroom.
Put those pictures, any model numbers you find on the lift itself as well as the HP rating and voltage of the motor in the ad. Also put something about sold as is/where is buy responsible for pick up. Those things are heavy and it will not be easy getting it out if that pit.
If I were closer there is a good chance it be in my garage already.

It appears who ever installed that mid rise should have been on the garage journal! I would agree a lot of mid rise lifts list on CL for about 600 -1000. I would not ask less than 1500 for that lift assuming it works , etc. My guess is 2300-2500 new. I would start with a 1500-1800 price tag on Craigslist. Mohawk is a premium made in USA product. Inthink the person who is buying a Mohawk, knows what they are buying. As opposed to give me the cheapest way to jack up a car. Have you tried it out to make sure it works? Plug it in, make sure there is hydraulic fluid in the reservoir, stand clear and push the button. There should be a lever that will lower it back down. If you aren't comfortable with that , you could probably download a manual from the manufacturer website. It would be good to know it works rather than some one from CL coming and telling you the fernicker valves are bad and he will do you a favor and take it away for scrap if you pay him $100 bucks. If you just want it gone, price it right and it will go away quick , or hold out and make a few bucks.

Is this your *last* house? If it's not, sell the compressor and keep the lift that both justifies and fits the hole in the floor.

I am interested in a lift and although a scissor lift isn't what I was originally thinking (a 4 post lift gives me everything I need plus car storage option) I saw this post and started thinking, hmmm - maybe this lift could do most of what I need it to do and I think there is a benefit to me if it could be moved out of the way when not being used, I should look into this.
So a quick Google search will show you a bunch of new lifts with between $1,000 - $2,000.
I realize that quality varies - so lets just look at two of the best known brands and compare.
BendPak MR6K-48: $1,915.00
Rotary RMR6: $1,923.00
Both of these prices are for brand new lifts, delivered to my door with warranty and technical support if needed. BendPak and Rotary are well known brands that have been around for years, are highly regarded by most and highly reviewed on GJ and elsewhere.
So for those of you that may have a Mohawk lift - why would I pay $1,500 to $1,800 for a Mohawk HR6000 that is 11 years old with no warranty, that I have to get out of a pit and transport versus the new lifts listed above?
I am truly interested if there is something that makes a Mohawk worth that much more- just trying to get my head around how saving maybe $200 - $400 for an 11 year old Mohawk model that is no longer made vs. brand new name brand lift delivered to my door is worth that type of price differential?

Mohawk is pretty much acknowledged to be the best lift manufacturer. The difference between the also rans such as the ones you have listed and a Mohawk lift is significant, although in most cases overkill.

I have a similar scissor lift at my home garage, very heavy duty. Made in the USA.
Mine is badged Snap-On, bought mine on Craigslist for $700, but that was six years ago and it was "used" back then.
I would buy a used US Made lift again any day vs. a new Chinese made list delivered to my door.

go to mohawk on line for info. I would keep it rather than sell it, it will be a lifesaver at some point for you.
New lifts about 5k for starters, usually selling used for 1k or so and compressor anywhere from 150$ to 3k used.
But if it is installed and works in good condition..don't sell it..you will find uses for it believe me. Even store a car in raised position and use lower space to park a vehicle or boat etc..(locked and secured in up position)
Lucky guy..I bought a house and it had my mother in law in it.

You may want to read the thread a little closer. The "compressor" is the hydraulic unit. You can't park under a mid rise lift either.
