Mohawk Lift - Paint Match

I’m looking for a spray can of paint to match the red on a Mohawk lift. I found a thread that suggested it was Rustoleum, Regal Red. That isn’t a good match. Has anyone found a good match that I can get locally?

I would give Mohawk a call. Did this when looking at purchasing a used Mohawk lift and was surprised how nice the team was, my deal did not work out. But they have top notch customer service.

When I refurbed my Mohawk scissor lift, I contacted Mohawk and purchased a can of Mohawk yellow and Mohawk red paint. If I recall they were not that expensive and they shipped them out quickly.

as the others have stated, just give mohawk a call, they have it in spray cans and is a good quality

Thanks all. I did call them the other day. The price was eye watering for a can of paint, hence my interest in a local option.

What do you consider "eye watering" ?? By the time you buy a couple of cans trying to match the color you might be at the same cost. This Seymour Engine Paint looks close but its impossible to tell for sure without trying it:

$55 for a can of red spray paint and $25 for a spray can of yellow - from the web site:



When I redid my A7 a couple years ago I used farm implement paint

IH Red and JD Yellow. It came out beautifully.

Picture of 2 cans of spray paint I received from Mohawk. The red is called Red Hammertone. Maybe that would assist with trying to match

If you are repainting the whole lift just get a nice color red you like & respray the whole lift.

You can also take a small piece from the lift that is painted into Napa and they can't paint match it in a can for like $15. It will be a single stage paint and you can then clear over it if you'd like.

Or go to Sherwin Williams/Home Depot/Lowes and match it to exterior house paints.
