Is anyone familiar with this type of lift? It seems to incorporate quite a few desirable features; i.e., portability, frame contact, decent lift height. Too good to be true? I understand that Mohawk is a reputable manufacturer as well. If anyone has had any experience with scissor lifts in general, or this unit in particular, I'd appreciate any input regarding pros and cons.

Thanks!

My neigbor has it. He is a mechanic and it is the second lift in his shop. He couldn't fit another above ground so he bout this. He paid 6,000 for it. He uses it everyday and never has anything bad to say about it.

If anyone in California has a used one Ill buy it off you. Ive been trying to find a used one for a long time. But they all seem to show up on the east coast and no one wants to ship. I do body work on the side and could really use one.

Well, I called Mohawk to ask if this lift was ALI certified, and they said no. But even worse, that unit has been discontinued. You'd think they'd take it off the web site, that being the case. They gave me the number of a place in Colorado that has a couple of them left, but the shipping to my area is prohibitive, on top of the cost of the unit itself, which isn't cheap. So I may have to rethink my direction on this one, darn it.
