Hello,

I thought I would take a moment to share a die set that I have never seen before. I also could not find much information on the set at all online. I only saw one instance on a forum where someone had a set like this.

I found it in a very old machinist box and it is like new.

Does anyone have any info on this die set? mainly I just wanted to show it off in case I came across something cool here.

thanks again

That is probably the company, I just have never seen a die set like this before. Have you?

I wonder what it is worth, I was considering keeping it but if I can sell it to continue on my quest to finish my SK set that would be sweet.

thanks

It is interesting to see that the company may have "disolved" or ended operations according to that link.

Just picked up an identical set for $24 off fleabay, don't see them too often, they are a quality set of American dies.

I think oxtoolco on youtube did a short vid on them a while back and said the holder doubles as the handle, he said since they're referenced by a set screw and pinned on opposite sides by two more and those are machine dimpled into the die itself.

The fit of the dies in the handle/holder is pretty tight but I'd still be a bit nervous using the 1/2" in it.

These dies will probably out live me and I only wish there was a matching metric set!
