Moisture barrier under laminate?

I'm getting ready to lay laminate on concrete in a bathroom. I am in the process of priming the floor to put a self leveling under-layment down.

What should I lay between the laminate that has an attached pad and the concrete? Tar paper? Plastic?

I usually use plastic but see what the manufacturer recommends. Should be in the instructions with the product. I have seen a few don't want you to use plastic.
