Moisture in heater vent?

I turned on my garage heater for the first time in a couple weeks. It is a 45k natural gas hot dawg. My vent comes about 11" off the back of the heater into a capped T then straight up and out the roof. When I turned it on water dropped from the T. Not a lot, not even enough to fill my hands. Is this normal?

Oh thank goodness. I installed the vent myself. Never done anything like that before. Also my fist home so I was a little nervous when water started coming out. Hah

Also there is moisture in the natural gas itself. That's the reason you want heater to run long enough that it get's up to full operating temperature. This gets heat exchanger & flue hot so moisture is evaporated.

Ohio is known to have "Wet Gas" which means there is considerable moisture in the natural gas provided in pipelines by gas company. This problem gets worse in winter time. Fellow CNG supporter I know in Ohio has his own NG compressor to fill car at home. He's had to install desiccant dryer to take moisture out of NG supplied from the gas company.
