Hello, I am a newbie here - this is an awesome forum BTW

I just ordered GarageDeck for my concrete garage floor. I picked that product because the floor needed next to no preparation, and it is easy to put down.....It should get here in a few days. Now I am wondering if I need to put down some kind of seal to avoid moisture from below becoming a problem later....I live in the Sacramento area and its pretty dry here generally, but it has been raining more recently. I dont want the mold/smell issues if I can help it.

My questions:
1. Am I overthinking this?
2. If not, then which product would be recommended for my situation?

Thanks in advance!

It is possible to completely waterproof, but it's not cheap.

Our Bontite 1101, a 100% solids epoxy, will penetrate the concrete, strengthen it, and provide a high level of hydrostatic pressure mitigation. However if you want complete waterproofing we've partnered with Barrier-1, and they guaranty a waterproof floor.
