mold on over hang on house ??

Ever 4 or 5 years .I have to treat my overhang [ on my house] for having light dark spots [mold] . I mix up bleach, siding cleaner ,a little dish soap,& water & shake it & put in a sprayer, And spray it on the over hang. Wait 5 or 10 minutes, then brush & wash it off . A lot off work , would a power washer do the job ??? Or how do you deal with it ??

Is there a mulch bed beneath this area?

If so, you've probably got artillery fungus.

no mulch bed below overhang. just grass

I have to do mine every year here in AL. I use water, bleach, and Jomax and spray on just as you said. I don't have to scub, just let it do the work. I think this is as quick as a power washer. With a power washer you would have to be careful about doing damage or getting water where it did not need to be.

If vinyl siding, common. A pressure washer can be dicey. You can inject water where it shouldn't be causing lots of problems.

The over hang & the siding is not vinyl siding..

Pressure washer alone will not kill mold.

Can I mix bleach, siding cleaner & dish soap together & run thru a pressure washer. And get away from having to brush [hard work] ????

You don't even need a pressure washer for it, the bleach will break the stuff down in a few minutes by itself. My dad and I usually just mix up some spray bottles and have at it every year or two, but you could easily use a hose-end sprayer and adjust the mixture if you have a dial and spray to your heart's content!

Higher than garden hose but less than shuttle take off?
