This may be a solution without a problem, but here goes.
I am looking for a device that I can plug in to a 120V outlet that can produce a momentary (1-2 second) power failure, based on a timer.
Here's why. I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea. When I turn it on, I also turn on the heated humidifier. During the night, I end up with a lot of condensation in the tubing. By morning, I usually wake up to water everywhere, or at least to the gurgling sound of a water-filled tube. If I could cause a momentary "power failure" say 3 hours into the night, it would shut off the humidifier (the machine will restart itself based on breathing, but will NOT turn on the humidifier automatically.)
Things get too dry if I don't use the humidifier at all. I haven't been able to find any info if the machine has different heat settings on the humidifier. Maybe that's an option too. I just thought this was one way around it.
Anyone ever run across such a device?
