That is the cleanest Monarch EE I've ever seen pics of. When was it made? Is it your lathe?

When my uncle retired long years back, they retired his office lathe and mill as well and made them a retirement gift to him. As head of the tool and die shop, he had a lathe and mill in his office. The lathe was a 10EE and when it was bought, the buyer got every accessory there was for it. About 6 years after he retired, they were so desperate for a dozen or more 10EE's, the they cut a deal and bought it and all the accessories from him. I think he said it had about 100 hours total use time since it was delivered from the factory.

I used one pretty regularly in a maintenance and repair role between 2008 and 2012. It was a 1948 model and still plenty accurate. 4400lbs!

My previous employer had one in their Machine Shop, as the company Maintenance Technician I had very little to do with the machine.

You will get better replies from the Monarch forum at Practical Machinist on your issue. This guy is a dealer who is also on PM, I guess he just found this place?
