I’m at my wits end with this thing. I bought it used a couple years ago, but it had only ever been ran once by the previous owner. Practically brand new. Last two winters, it’s given me zero problems and has been super reliable. Fast forward to this winter and it’s been a headache.

It will not fire up. All safety switches test good, flame rod looks brand new and is clean, igniter gets hot, 75 gallons of fuel in the 100 gallon tank, it’s squeaky clean, etc. Initially the solenoid pump had failed and replacing it allowed it to work for exactly one night. Next morning it threw an E-13 code and no fuel flow from that pump. Replaced it again and same thing, worked fine for one night and back to square one. This time I have fuel flow from the pump, buts it’s super weak and the stove won’t stay lit or burn strong enough to reach the flame rod. I pulled the sump to clean it, but there wasn’t really anything to clean. Took apart the solenoid pump and cleaned it as well, but again… not even dirty. Voltage to the pump at the board is 30 volts and voltage after the resistor on the solenoid pump is roughly 25 Volts. What am I missing? Could I really have gotten that many bad pumps in a row or is something causing them to fail/not work correctly?

Have you done a google search on.......monitor 2400 heater e13 code

Yes… that’s the first thing I did. I’ve checked everything that’s said to check. Hence why I’m asking here just in case someone has had a similar experience.

It has fuel. Fuel flows to sump and the float is functioning correctly. Everything is clean. Pump functions, but fuel flow is weak... it *barely* dribbles out and isn’t enough to get more than a tiny glow in the burn chamber. This is the 3rd pump now and I’m not looking to keep shotgunning pumps at it when they only seem to work for a day. There is no repair manual for these things that I can find that traces the circuit and/or tells me what sends power to the pump.
