My Monitor 2400 has started acting up after many years. Looking online it seems I am overdue for a "maintenance overhaul." Does anyone have recommendations for the best source of the required parts?

Subscribing. I've got a Monitor 20 in my garage and love the fact that I can heat with kerosene without the smell of kerosene.

FYI, Monitor has been out of business for about 10 yrs and parts are beginning to become unobtainium. I would suggest that you call Nelson & Small in Portland, ME. 207 775-5666. Actually, they were purchased by Webber Supply, but they will be able to give you a lead on parts. Distributors for Monitor were N&S, in SE, Carswell, NW was Lucky. Oh, ask for Buzz' number he was the Service Mgr for Monitor and bought a lot of their remaining parts. Many are replacing the Old Monitors with Rinnai Energysavers. There have been premium programs for this conversions to gas. Good luck!

They were great stoves but as you said, they are out of business which really is a bummer because ours was a fantastic unit.
