I will soon be constructing a monitor-style pole barn garage. I have been in contact with a couple of vendors about a kit, which would speed construction, but which is, of course, a bit pricey.
Does anyone know of a vendor where I could buy knee braces, collar ties and other hardware for a complete DIY instead of going with a kit like those at dandibuildings.com or polebarn-kits.com?
What I am looking to do is have the center section of the monitor building be floorless and trussless so there is room for a car lift and a place for all the heat to go. I also like the look of the monitor-style barns.
The building would be about 40x48.
