I was cruising CL for a nice drill press, and found this. Might be a tad big for my needs tho.

They call that a "camelback" drill press. It was originally set up for a line shaft. That thing has a few years on it.

Its a nice old machine, But I have to agree. Its sad but that pretty much only worth scarp weight.

Yep x3, I have a old Sibley like that but with auto feed and I paid less than scrap. Not really useful to me, just wanted it because it is huge and old.

That would be cool to have all restored it the shop! I`d keep an eye on you might be able to score a good deal once the seller is sick of advertising it.

Those are a lot biiger but everthing here is bigger.

That thing is actually real close to me, too bad its way too much.

That is a really neat old tool but it is sad that this guy actually thinks it is worth something. Just because something is really old and looks cool doesn't make it valuable. It is probably worth about what it weighs in scrap.
