It's hard to get rid of big old machines, sadly.

A few years back I had to cut up a nice DeVlieg bore mill because I couldn't give it away. Not even the scrappers would take it because I couldn't let them in the plant to disassemble it due to liability.
Had the maintenance guys cut it into small enough pcs to load onto our trucks and haul it out.

I'm picking up a K&T milling machine this weekend at a screaming deal because of this. It's been listed on Craig's List for two weeks and I'm the only person that called on it. It weighs about 12,000 lbs. It should work well for me working on farm equipment. I've already got a job lined up for it this winter boring a worn front tractor axle. I can mount the entire axle on the table to do the boring.

do you have any other pics? are you familiar with Jimmy DiResta? he loves saving these old machines and has a friend who is a collector.
