I really dig on their road boxes shaped like a triangle. Looking at my local Sears at the small one in was made in China. Bigger one had no CCO sticker. I thought in another thread someone said from the company the road boxes were made in the us. Disappointed

I believe the small handheld/carry boxes are USA made, but the larger ones are imported. I could be misremembering.

I just went to the website and looked, but there isn't any COO info that I can find.

From one of the older threads:

i believe most slant front boxes are (US made) but at least some are imported. :( sadly i think the latest crossovers are imported. if you see a crossover with a dimple or in dished in area were the the lift handle is it is imported. if the handle is bolted over a flat surface it is domestic or us made. this came from a very reputable source. i know mine is us made and i believe yours to be but the latest ones may not be.

From one of the older threads:

i believe that to be accurate info . with more regret i doubt you will find any of the slant front boxes without the dimpled side. they all seem to be well made but i doubt any of them are usa made any longer.

That's too bad because I was seriously considering buying a 26" crossover top box, but now it's highly unlikely that I will. I really like the box, but I'm not getting it if it comes from China.

As pro USA made as I am, for the price and quality, I don't care that it was made in china. I used the 26" crossover combo at work for about six months, and loved it. Incredibly high quality and very durable. The socket/wrench pegs are something I'm always going to miss having with my new box.

I bought one of the original montezuma boxes 15+ years ago and the location of where they were thought up, and designed, in Montezuma KS, shortly after they were available. Only had small distribution network and most were sold out of the welding shop that built them. Used it for 5 years on my shop pickup for service calls then when i closed the shop it was mounted on a craftsman bottom at home and later on a cart to roll around garage and drive. Still in great shape lid is a little bent from someone trying to gain access with it locked on the pickup, and paint worn and a little surface rust. Thought about putting in my current pickup for tools but have not done it.
