I have an old Montgomery Ward lathe for sale.
I got the unit from a place I used to work at, it was no longer used. This thing needs TLC, cleaning up and replacing/repairing some parts.
My plan was to rebuild it, I bought a few parts for it, but never did anything with it, family expansion took up all my time. Plus, I don't know much about these things. My ultimate plan was to rebuild and learn...
One thing I know about it, is that the drive gear for the apron is broken, but I have a stack of extra gears for it.
I have a ton of spare/extra parts with it, all included. Most I don't know what they are...
It does have a new heavy duty electric motor installed, it is included. I'm pretty sure the ways are good, no gauging.
I know that most parts are available from the Logan store, which is an identical unit, and eBay usually has a lot of parts available.
If anything, this thing can be parted out and sold on eBay, if you have the time to do it.
It's currently mounted to an old desk, it is not included.
I'm looking for $275. Must pick up, can help load. It is very very heavy though... Unit is located in Sarasota area, Florida.
