Moore & Wright "Scrutite" Heavy Duty Screwdriver

This is my M&W "Scrutite". It's 11" overall and quite heavy. It shows up in my 1955 cat. and probably later. From the description in my 1939 cat., it looks like it may have just been introduced then or soon before. It's a nice screwdriver.

M&W sure did make a variety of stuff. The only M&W item I have is a machinist solid square. That screwdriver is pretty neat!

That’s a nice one. What size is the hex?

The hex is a nice snug 7/16ths Whit., which I believe is just .007" larger than a 13/16ths AF.
