Just because your PC died does not mean your email are lost. Put the hard drive from the dead PC into a working PC and recover your emails. There are many reasons for a PC to die. If the hard drive still works you should be able to recover any files on it including your emails.

Is the PC a laptop? I'd be willing to attempt to fix it in trade for something Snap-on!

laptop and our snap on email is deleted from the server. all windows functions are also dead. it locks up when you use windows explorer for anything
there is a dead spot on the hard drive and it was right in the program i use for snap on and also a part of windows was affected. it is gone. the computer shop said it was best to trash it.
the email is downloaded to my laptop and then removed from the server. once that happens it is dead. looks like someone will not get a ss gift until moose gets back on here. he has logged in a couple of times since I realized what had happened.

Hey, I'm a professional IT guy! Did you use outlook by any chance? If you did, I can tell you exactly where your emails are. If not, let me know what program you were using for email and I can probably tell you where your emails are hiding. If you slave that drive, even if it's got a bad sector or two, we can probably restore those bad boys.

outlook express. I cant even click on my computer. it freezes I cant even click on search under the start menu. we still use xp. my it guys tried for an hour and gave up

There was not enough time to get it to Illinois to actually have someone do anything physically to it.
all pc stores here were backed up about a week and as chad would tell you a week is a long time without a laptop. 1700 bucks from dell, but i bought one used that was completely rebuilt for 329. much better
im up and going and only missed a few emails. the SS was the important one.

you could try knoppix, it's a live and rescue system bootable from CD/DVD. that way you can grab your files without using the buggy system you got there now.

it would not read a cd or write to one. all i could do was move items from the desktop to my jump drive it is allfixednow thanks moose
