A buddy of mine picked this 1/2" impact wrench up at a pawn shop a few weeks ago. I've never seen anything like it before, looks like it's from the 50's.

Anybody have any info on it? Being a Mopar guy I thought it was a real neat piece.

no useful info other than it's really cool, lol. i can tell you there will be NO parts available for it.

Yeah I'm guessing it will be more of hang on the wall kind of tool, so I doubt he'll need parts for it. Haven't hooked it up to an air hose yet, but everything is at least free on it. For the $25 he paid it's still an awesome score in my book.

I would just love to know more about the history of any Mopar Multi-Purpose Line tools. I've got lots of newer Mopar specific tools made by Miller, but have never seen anything branded Mopar like this.

Speaking of Mopar. I work in a wrecking yard in Portland Oregon. About 20 years ago me and another employee were pulling the tailgate off of a big Chrysler station wagon. In order to unbolt the hinges on the left side of the car, we had to pull a large plastic panel inside the car to get to the hinge nuts. Inside the rear quarter panel was a paper coffee cup that said CHRYSLER CORP.

Gort.
