Help Id these tools from grandfathers barn

The item on the left appears to be a boot scraper. You bolt it down to the porch floor, so you can scrap the mud off your feet before going in the house.

While the boot scraper can be used for mud, I'd guess it got more use for snow..

The boot scrapers got used for a lot worse stuff than mud if you were a farmer. Lots of sh*** goes around a farm under your feet. Wives almost always insisted on scraper and then remove shoes in mud room before you tracked up her clean kitchen floor. I know my farmer uncles and aunts had that always.
