Hey Everyone
Craftsman's Extreme Grip Screwdrivers have been getting awesome reviews. The only drawback has been "But... they are made in China..."
Anyway, the regular 6 piece set has been consistently sold "On Sale" for $19.99, which is a great price.
I have a set of my own, and they are great for regular use and I like them better than my other set of Craftsman acrylic handle screwdrivers. One reviewer says he likes them as much as his Snap on drivers.
From browsing the Sears website, I found out that Extreme Grip screwdriver line has expanded to a 10 and 14 piece set...check it out. The drivers are also sold individually. As of today (3/15) they are not for sale yet - I imagine in just a few days/weeks they will be available.
Just when I thought I was done with my Extreme Grip collection - I practically got the whole entire set free (except for the allen hex key tools) by waiting for my Sears points over several months.
I know everyone has some sort of issue with Sears and there are serious haters out there, but a lot of tools in the Extreme Grip line are real decent.
Check it out:
