I purchased 3 of the Costco 100% Solids epoxy kits for my 800 sf garage. They claim that 1 kit covers 480 sf at 10 mils. When I apply the epoxy, is it recommended to use two 9 mil coats, or one 18 mil coat?
Also, the kits do not come with a clear coat. They claim it doesn't need it. If I plan on using a medium broadcast, should I clear coat it? Are clear coats made from epoxy or urethane? Is there a time frame that I have to add the clear coat if the clear coat is a different material than the epoxy? Can anyone recommend a clear coat that can go with the epoxy I chose?
