Well seeing as everyone is in such a helpful mood i thought id throw another at you guys, ive tried everywhere to find back ground information on these Snap-on adjustable wrenches, ive checked this forum and other forums aswell as Alloy-artifacts with no joy, what i want to know is who made them? and if Snap-on made them which factory were they made in, i checked out the google patent check which gives date of design and patent application aswell as designer and company info. I think the direction arrow and "no hammering" and "no extensions" marking are similar to Crescent/ Cooper era Diamonds. I was pretty upset when they stopped offering these wrenches but Snap them up when i can.

I hate to say it, but the scale on the side of the jaw comes in handy. I have a Kobalt adjustable that I bought as part of an emergency tool kit to bring a used truck home from California. It has a scale like that and I used to think it was a foo-foo gimmick. I had reason to use the wrench the other day on several different size nuts, and found that the scale helped get the jaw set closer than my "expert" eye!
