Yes...very nice Blackhawk 7/16 drive set.. One of the nicest I've seen.

It looks like there are some pieces that have been added to the set. If you get a chance, please post up some detailed pics showing all of the pieces laid out.

Here's everything laid out. There were Armstrong wrenches in the toolbox as well.

Who makes that teal box? That's a deep shade of teal.

Believe it is a Union box.

Yep, Union.

:+1: x10 Exactly what I thought. Was your grandfather also into cars or guns? If so what all did he have.

He used to have cars, but those have long-since been sold. No guns that I've ever known about.

nesw20,

This is a very interesting Blackhawk set. It looks to have every screwdriver tip, extension, breaker bar (hinged offset) and drive adapter that was available. Some of these are very hard to find pieces. The stud remover is another nice bonus. The added wrenches appear to be in excellent condition as well!

Again, super nice set.. Thanks for sharing these additional pics!

These are the 7/16" drive items from a 1947 catalog:

I've always loved the shape of those torpedo-style handles. And the red pin striping, well that's just simply awesome.

That set is totally awesome. It does look like you have everything or almost everything available in the set. And with the adapters you could use modern 3/8" or 1/2" drive metric sockets.
