I'm still trying to get our pole barn finished up before winter hits. I'm planning on finishing out this half as a "living space". The plan was to put up OSB (as you see in the pic) and then build a metal stud wall on top of it. What I'm not sure about is how to insulate it. Would it be best to put sheet styrofoam on the OSB and then put batt insulation in the metal stud wall? I'm not 100% sure I understand the issues surrounding vapor barriers, but would like to make sure I don't have problems later.
I'm in Missouri, HOT summers and COLD winters. If that helps. This building will not be heated (or cooled) all of the time, only when we're out there on the weekends.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Steve
