I brought home some more of my dad's tools a few days ago.
The breaker bar is a JH Williams Kobalt, 22802, 3/8, the small ratchet is a C-man, 44994, 1/4".
The next ratchet is a Thorsen, 51177, 3/8 and the bottom one is a Western Auto, 45-8100-5, 3/8". They all work.
The sockets are all 3/4" drive and range from 15/16 to 1-5/8". Brands are a mix of Snap On, Bonney, Plomb and Blackhawk. All are older than me, I was born in 1962. My dad picked up the sockets in the army as he worked in armament maintenance from 1947-1968. He was armament section leader for the 196 Inf. Bde. in Vietnam.
I also brought home a Bonney 3/4" drive sliding T-bar.
What are the pins on the sockets for? I would guess some type of retainer.
Thanks
