I believe the poster meant offering 70% of the asking price, not 70% OFF.

The first 2 are good asking prices with some wiggle room built in. 3RD box is nutso crazy high.

Note, the first to are ok assuming they are in good shape with good liners and the drawers work well. I buy and sell a fair amount of boxes and condition is everything.

As always cash is king.,

They are overpriced
Really? Based on what exactly? What something is worth is a debatable thing I guess and in the end, what something is worth really comes down to what someone else is willing to pay for it. That said...

Set #1 is a KRA 4114\4107 combo. New they go for $3700 so the $1k asking price is 73% off of MSRP. Depending on condition that seems pretty fair to me? Lets it put it this way, I just bought the same setup in Royal Blue for the same amount and I feel like it was a fair price. Let me also put it another way... find me that same setup in the same condition for less. I have been seriously looking at SO boxes for over a year now and haven't found a better deal then that.

Box #2 - Looks like a KRL series? Assuming it is and depending on condition, that could be a smoking deal but I will admit the condition looks rough? $800 may just be fair in this case unless it's in really awful condition?

Set #3 looks to be the same as set #1 just in a different color. That being the case I would agree that the asking price is way to high

I paid 1800 for a 4114/4107. It had never been used so 2K seems a little high to me, especially if it was used a lot. I am still jealous of people finding the combo for 1000.

Yeah, I agree, 1 and 2 look like decent deals, 3rd is too high. Maybe the new Orleans area has much lower cost of living than here though, which will adjust cost of everything.

Everyone thinks their stuff is gold plated.

Most are just making up for the fact that every CL buyer thinks half the asking price is a perfectly reasonable offer. Not that there aren't enough sellers with stupid-high prices who won't budge, too.

I think the first 2 are pretty good deals.

I thought the 3rd was a pretty good deal at $1. :D

I despise the people that put "$1" in the title to get it to show up in price searches. Makes me just not look at the ad, I figure if they have to pull that, they must really want too much.

I don't think the prices on any of the 3 are bad. I paid a grand for a KRA setup similar to the first ad, and I feel I got a pretty good deal on it. I could probably resell it for more.

The middle red box belongs in the CL hot deals thread. I would be on that if it was local.

The trannie lift is way over price. You can find a good top end one for under $200
The smaller box is not bad
The larger box is way over price. When the Snappie boxes sell on Ebay the $15,000 boxes are luck to bring $3,000. Watch E bay and see how low the Snappie boxes are selling for when they do not have a reserve.
Snappie boxes are a dime a dozen at crazy prices Every where you look there are hundreds of them people are trying to sell. Then again anyone who buys one of the turck need to be put in ward B at Bellview in NY. that is the world famous mental ward. They just took everyone out of there because the basment flooded and damaged equipment.

I don't even see a price on the transmission lift, but I am curious to where you are finding "top end" transmission lifts for under $200. Every "Quality" transmission lift I've ever sold has brought 60-75% of New retail, of course these are rebuilt and warranted. I probably receive 3-5 phone calls a week wanting to know if I have any in stock.
