I saw the biggest retail Snap on display I've ever seen at Pep Boys. The picts don't show it, but on the left side is a full rack of folding knives.

Everything I looked at was made in China. The warranty address for one of the knives was The Great American Tool Company.
Also, on the tool bag, the website listed is http://www.alltradetools.com/

The last pict is some of the other associated alltrade companies.

In case you can't see, there are flashlights, knives, a wet/dry vac, some vacuum accessories, a toolbag, an LED light...

I saw some Snap-On stuff at Northern Tool and Equipment over the weekend. Tape measure, scraper, and some box cutters. I guess since they've got flashlights on Sears website we'll be seeing Snap-On at K-mart before long!

I've seen tape measures and flashlights here and there, at Checkers and ACE hardware, but so far this has been the biggest display I've seen all in one place.

Aside from the logo, I would say they have nothing else in common

The Ace hardware store I frequent has that same large Snap on display in it. Costco in my area has a couple of Snap on labeled pressure washers. The Checker auto parts store down the street has all of their Snap on stuff on the clearance table. If you're in the market for a Snap on tape measure, utility knife, or flashlight, your Checker Auto parts store may have it on sale too. I still think that selling Snap on **** anywhere other than a truck and not having USA clearly stamped on every Snap on tool cheapens the brand but, that's just me. My Snap on buying days are fading.

I'm for anything that helps keep the hardline made in the USA. If selling that other stuff helps them turn a profit I'm for it.

I've got the drop light, on the bottom left in picture #2, it works good, but the back of the casing is sort of large for it, reflects more then it shines. I do like the lack of a cord feature however, its nice having one solid long cord (extension) so there is no plug to trip over/get caught on stuff when you tug on the cord. Cost 9.99 at advance auto

I can't wait to buy Snap-On tools at Harbor Freight. I have a 20% coupon. They also have sidewalk sale. No more buying used Snap-On at the swap meet.

I saw some stuff at the parts store as well. They aren't selling SO tools in theses stores. Only cheap accessory stuff like flashlights and tape measures.

'Tis sacrilege to call that **** tools, the freebies the dealer gives out is of better quality than the garbage at Pep Boys, or True Value/Ace hardware.
