More Toptul prices are up - Hand Sockets

"B" there is one thing you forgot in your Business Lesson, "you can't please all of the people all of the time" and there are always customers that will never be happy, no matter what you do for them. There are far more people that appreciate Mike for his personal service than his website, the website will come along as time goes by.

I was critical in the beginning with Mike and his so called "Stock on Hand" and I decided to put my money where my mouth is, place a large order and he had everything, with the exception of 2 large sockets. The other thing, if your are so put off with him and his website, then why do you even bother? Go complain about some other website, I'm sure there are plenty for you to find and complain about. I'm sure those people will care just about as much as Mike does or should. :stfu:

Talk about beating a dead horse. Why does any one have an issue with him? because he came to the forum looking to make some money by selling ok tools? Or is it because not every one is happy by how he does business?

I just don't get why the hell this keeps coming up and members have to start beating on other members.

It's so simple.

1. If you don't want to buy from him because you don't like the web page, Don't buy from him and stop Ranting all over the forum about it.
2. If you have issues with him, PM him. Don't feel you need to get every one else involved.
3.Stop bring the same things up over and over again, Some new content would be nice at least.

Like I don't know, I almost feel that because he could not out right please some people on here and give them there every desire that there out head hunting him because he is satisfying so many other members here.

I don't come on here very much anymore but I have to say the toptul stuff has piqued my interest enough that I'm going to have to buy something soooner than later just to chck it out.

Whoever's site that is, there's no such thing as bad press, even if people are bitching they're still looking at it!

I'm no fan of the site either, gotta have more prices, that said god help him it must be a *lot* of work for a guy to put something like that together without a lot of $$$ involved!

Hey, come think of it didn't PAW just *finally* add a shopping cart to their website?!? They killed their printed catalog, barely advertise anymore, and have a godawful website, what's the future for them hold?!?

Mike is JUST building the site guys. I'm sure within the next few weeks he will have all the prices up, and the shipping fixed at the least. I'm sure it takes a long time to get a picture and description of everything he offers, especially since he is essentially a one man show.

I dont want to be negative towards mike (consider it constructive criticism ), but thats just about the clumsiest website I have seen! I still feel like the customer is doing a LOT of work to find what he wants along with prices. There needs to be FULL descriptions of items so you dont have to navigate back and forth between the toptul page and mikes page to know what you are getting.

I have to agree. When you to go a related pricing page on his own site, there's no pic to compare the set with. And it's hard (for me at least) to remember what product was what. Esp. on the screwdrivers section. I almost liked it the old way where you could just print out a spreadsheet of prices and go to TopTul -- it was faster that way. I'm even more confused now.

My IT guy/people will be making the site MUCH more user friendly. They even brought up these issues to me before and I said "people will complain but lets at least make sure the prices go up first, and make sure their CORRECT", then I can leave the clean up work to the IT people to be able for a person to go direct from the part...to the price and another pic with one click. So it is entirely my fault for it being clumsy right now.
So all of you are right in saying that it's too laborious and I understand and will fi xot for sure. I could care less what the site is like as long as YOU the user likes it so the comments and complaints are the only way I know what to do with. So...thanks!!! and keep 'em coming.

My only gripe is the part numbers are hard to read - they've got that blurry PDF look and they can't be made bigger.

Im really glad you took it as constructive criticism. At least in my case thats really what it was meant to be!

BTW, I started getting jealous of everyone posting pics of their new tools, so I broke down and emailed you my list

how about prices on the top right hand corner of every ratchet description instead of clicking to a different page for them? would make things much easier...JMO
